	eats. Most foreign intelligence services that pose a risk t
	 the United States have moved to an asymmetric posture, usi
	g both cyber-based and physical contact methods to gather i
	telligence information to gain a technological and/or milit
	ry advantage. This asymmetric attack manifests itself in a 
	ariety of ways: direct attacks on major computer networks t
	 steal information; compromising of key persons through e-m
	il and social networking on the Internet who may or may not
	be aware of their assistance to the adversary; and physical
	y contacting U.S. persons both at home and while on foreign
	travel to compromise them and/or their electronic devices, 
	mong others. Due to the "take all" attitude of foreign inte
	ligence services and the insiders they compromise, no one i
	 immune it is important for all of us to maintain a healthy
	respect for the privacy of our personal and business electr
	nics and information in the global economy. We will have 8 
	peakers approach the theme from different perspectives. Our
	keynote speaker is Michael Davis, co author of the high reg
	rded Hacking Exposed.
