SCME: Microsystems Cleanroom Workshop for Post-Secondary Educators - a hands-on experience learning to build a micro pressure. The workshop is being held in Albuquerque, NM at the Univ. of New Mexico's Manufacturing Training and Technology Center. For more information please contact Anna Garden at agarden@unm.edu.

In this class you will learn: about pressure sensors and will build a micro-pressure sensor in an actual research cleanroom. This workshop includes: • 19 hours of hands-on cleanroom processing in the University of New Mexico Manufacturing Training and Technology cleanroom • 10 hours of classroom instruction on pressure sensors and the manufacturing process • 8 hours of cleanroom safety training and safety certification • a professional development certificate of completion for 45 hours of class time • 8 hours of brainstorming and coaching on how this material can be used in your classroom • an assortment of 5 kits for your classroom with processing information and samples of the pressure sensor process from start to finish.
