DESCRIPTION:This 5-day class will cover core competencies in the latest PC 
 hardware and software technologies as well as safety and environmental issu
 es and soft skills. There will be a special unit focusing on Cyber Security
 . The course will cover all topics required for CompTIA’s new A+ (2009) C
 ertification and the new Cisco IT Essentials curriculum (version 4.1). This
  course’s focus is on the training needs of high school IT faculty althou
 gh it will also be open to College IT faculty. Attendees will have opportun
 ity to gain certification as Cisco Instructor for Cisco IT Essentials curri
 culum. This class is offered on two different weeks in two different locati
 ons.
