DESCRIPTION:The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education will
  host a Continuous School Improvement Workshop August. 6\, 2014\, at the Tu
 lsa Cox Convention Center. A post-CareerTech Summer Conference activity\, t
 he CSI workshop will have a separate registration with a fee of $50 per per
 son. Space is limited\, so registration for the workshop is on a first come
 \, first served basis. The CSI workshop registration will open in conjuncti
 on with the CareerTech Summer Conference registration.

\nAll CareerTech 
 Summer Conference designated hotels will honor the conference rate for the 
 CSI conference as well. Workshop attendees needing lodging will simply need
  to extend their reservation by one day.

\nWorkshop Objectives:
\n
\na) 
     Participants will leave with a strong understanding of the importance o
 f continuous school improvement and the culture shift necessary to support 
 the change.
\n
\nb)     Participants will exchange proven continuous improv
 ement strategies for immediate implementation at the local level.
\n
\nc)  
    Participants will develop and/or strengthen a network for continuous sch
 ool improvement.
\n
\nd)     Participants will embrace the renaissance of c
 areer & technology education.
\n
\nThe workshop will reinforce the key requ
 irements and major processes that support Oklahoma CareerTech’s strategic
  purposes.
