DESCRIPTION:A National Science Foundation Grant (NSF\, DUE 1801078) to cond
 uct an American Welding Society (AWS) SENSE QC-10 Welding Certification Tea
 cher Workshop. We will go over the certification process\, school registrat
 ion process\, and each teacher will earn QC-10 certification upon successfu
 l completion. Opportunity will also be given for breakout sessions to work 
 on implementation scenarios for each respective school program. Core elemen
 ts of certification modules will be emphasized as well as teaching practice
 s to ensure student success. Articulation pathways will also be highlighted
  for students next steps to advanced welder certification\, or AWS QC-11 of
 fered at Monroe County Community College.

  31 and August 1\, 6\, 7\, 8 \, 2019.

 igh school welding teacher\, or teacher interested in teaching welding\, (c
 onstruction or machining)\; or interested in AWS SENSE QC-10 certification
