Simple Python using ArcPY – Presented By: Vince DiNoto
This workshop will be for experienced users of any version of ArcMap. This workshop is not designed to make the participant a Python programmer. It will provide simple lessons in scripting of Python to be used directly with the ArcPY module of Esri ArcMap. In this workshop the participants will learn how to use Python scripts to do geoprocessing tasks both within and outside of ArcMap. No programming is required. This will be a hands on workshop and the participants will learn how to use Python (representative list) to clip, buffer, join (tabular and spatial), merge, create repetitive tasks, and obtain information from files.
