Description

This Exploratorium introduces geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and discusses its technologies, tradecraft, policies, capabilities, doctrines, activities, people, data and communities needed to produce geospatial intelligence in an integrated, multi-intelligence, multi-domain environment. GEOINT was created to describe and encompass both the standard and the advanced (integrated) capabilities of imagery, imagery intelligence and geospatial information. It was originally primarily connected to remote sensing, but now has branched out to other areas as well. This Exploratorium is for beginners up to intermediate audiences who are either brand new to GEOINT or are just starting out. It is NOT for the GEOINT guru or advanced user.
