STEM Guitar Building   

The National Science Foundation funded the LEAD Guitars in STEM project to bring STEM learning techniques and an innovative professional development opportunity for STEM enthusiasts (high school to adult). Take part in an intense 5-day guitar design/build workshop in a hands-on lab environment. Each participant will build his/her own custom electric guitar based on applied STEM learning techniques in the effort to engage students in the topics of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Participants will leave this week-long experience with their custom-made guitars and curriculum modules with short term assessments.
