Cindy Miller has been President of UPS Global Freight Forwarding since April 2016. She is responsible for Global Forwarding which encompasses UPS International Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs and Brokerage Operations. She is a 29 year UPS veteran having begun her career in 1988 as a Package Car Driver.

Cindy repatriated back to the US last year as a result of this new position. Prior to taking over GFF, she served as President of UPS Europe. In this position, based in Brussels, Belgium, she oversaw and was responsible for all UPS operations in the nearly 60 countries and territories across Europe, including UPS’s package delivery, freight forwarding, contract logistics and distribution activities. The Europe region is UPS’s largest non-U.S. operation. She lived more than eight years outside the United States having had ten relocations across two continents in her career. She’s lived and worked in many large cities like Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, London and Brussels.

Before taking the European top spot in 2013, she held key executive positions in the company, such as President of UPS South Europe and Africa and President of UPS U.K., Ireland and the Nordics. While in the UK, Cindy Miller not only oversaw UPS’s daily operations serving some of the world’s biggest global businesses, but was also responsible for UPS’s successful execution of the logistics for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, for which UPS was the Official Logistics and Express Delivery Supporter.

Miller is a native of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, USA. She was an active member of The European Executive Council (EEC), Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union, and a Board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Humanities from Penn State University.
