Learn How College Students Are Defining Humanitarian Mapping

Are you ready to empower students? YouthMappers are college students making a difference with geospatial technology. The consortium organizes a global community of learners, researchers, educators, and scholars to create and use open geographic data that directly address locally-defined development challenges worldwide. Students and their faculty advisors in the US and in developing nations are invited to learn more about YouthMappers, an international university consortium on Mapping for Resilience.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • About the tools of humanitarian mapping
  • About the great work completed by the YouthMappers
  • How to join YouthMappers

Speakers

Dr. Patricia Solis, YouthMappers and Arizona State University

Dr. Thomas Mueller, Professor, California University of Pennsylvania and Adjunct Professor, Northeastern University
