Who Should Attend:
Faculty and administrators seeking to create, develop or improve a cybersecurity program at their college are invited to attend. Corrinne Sande, Director/PI of NCyTE will present a Program Development and Technical Assistance workshop designed to help faculty or administrators add or enhance cybersecurity programs of study at their college. Through Ms. Sande’s efforts, Whatcom Community College became the first National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense—Two-Year Education (CAE2Y) on the West Coast.
The workshop is split into three sessions to allow time to fully cover the subject matter. Please allocate time to attend all three.
A small stipend will be available to participants at the conclusion of Session 3 contingent upon completion of a survey regarding the workshop.
Corrinne Sande is the director of the National Cybersecurity Resource Center funded by the National Security Agency, and Principal Investigator for NCyTE, a National Science Foundation–funded Advanced Technological Education (ATE) national resource center that works to grow and strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity workforce. Both centers are hosted at Whatcom Community College (WCC). Ms. Sande also serves as the Principal Investigator of the Catalyzing Computing and Cybersecurity in Community Colleges (C5) NSF-funded grant and is the Director of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at WCC.
