PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION

Nuclear, Environmental Management, Energy, and Electric Technology Program Sustainability

While the national STEM technician workforce needs continue to strengthen, the challenges many community colleges face to keeping STEM program opens has also intensified. For about a decade, RCNET has focused on these challenges in the nuclear sector helping colleges stay open by addressing budget, enrollment, disruptive administrative turn over, and other challenges with a host of solutions.

This 2-day workshop will discuss scalable solutions, facilitated collaborative discussion on the topic, and develop partnerships to tackle unaddressed challenges. Included will be discussion on 2022 funding possibilities. Finally, RCNET leadership will work privately with each college to understand their challenges and develop a action plan.

Professional Development Stipends are available for travel expenses – please email Kevin Cooper for more information.
