ATE Forward: Leading Education & Innovation for the Skilled Technical Workforce

The 2025 ATE Conference will be held on October 29-31 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference will bring together more than 850 NSF ATE grantees and their project partners to focus on the critical issues related to advanced technological education (ATE). Conference participants represent ATE projects and centers across the U.S. including community colleges, business and industry, secondary school systems, and four-year colleges covering projects in a wide variety of areas, such as advanced manufacturing technologies, engineering technologies, information technologies, biotechnology, and others.  

*Important Schedule Changes: The 2025 ATE Conference opening plenary session will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 12:00 p.m., and the conference will end at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31. Optional pre-conference sessions will be held Wednesday morning before the plenary. See the preliminary schedule here and stay tuned for updates!

Conference Attendance: NSF expects ATE PIs to attend the conference as a stipulation of their grant awards. This event offers an important opportunity for PIs to connect with other ATE grantees and share promising practices, resources, and lessons learned. If unable to attend, PIs should designate team members or partners to participate. 

Registration & Housing Support: To support participation, AACC will continue its practice to provide two (2) complimentary registrations per active ATE project/center award, which includes three (3) complimentary hotel nights, at the conference rate, for those two complimentary registrants. Registration and housing details will be available in the coming weeks.
