This 46-page report, provided by the Coalition of State Bioscience Institutes (CSBI), provides a national snapshot of the talent needs of the United State's life science industry as it adjusts from the initial effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this edition, TEConomy Partners LLC collaborates with CSBI to assess "the industry’s demand for talent and the related themes emerging from a disruptive year using both quantitative and qualitative assessment approaches." Evidence draws from 2.5 million job postings, a hiring survey, and around 200 interviews with life science executives. The following five life science areas are explored: agriculture, feedstock and chemicals; drugs and pharmaceuticals, medical devices and equipments; research testing and medical laboratories; and bioscience-related distribution. The contents highlight the industry's economic resilience during the pandemic, explore the shift to remote work, consider equity and diversity, and look into industry-academic partnerships.
