Foothill College offers a course in nanostructures and nanomaterials for students and working professionals who want an introduction to the subject. This course, a survey of nanostructures and nanomaterials, is offered in Spring Quarter 2014. All attending students will be offered a hands-on experience using an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and tour of a world class commercial lab (Nanolab Technologies) and Standford (SNF) with state of the art instrumentation.
