Semiconductor Science Activities for High School Chemistry

This 34-page teachers guide, provided by Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center (MATEC), includes semiconductor science activities. The student activities in this packet are designed to be incorporated into a standard high school chemistry curriculum. The intent is to provide the student with an introduction to study of the facets of chemistry as they apply to semiconductor technology. This resource includes background information on semiconductor manufacturing, a glossary, and the following activities: Density of Solids, Doping by Diffusion, Etching and Photolithography, and Crystals.
