Career Education in Renewable Energy Technology (CERET) offers technical training and education to incumbent workers, students, and teachers in renewable energy technologies. Through these actions, CERET seeks to promote energy independence, economic prosperity, and environmental sustainability. Working together, CERET partners provide training for the renewable energy workforce and collaborate to offer a Renewable Energy Certificate for individuals pursuing careers as renewable energy technicians. To ensure that college and high school faculty have the necessary knowledge and experience in renewable energy technology, CERET also conducts workshops and professional development courses for science, engineering, and technical education teachers.
