Phase-Locked Loops
Description:
This learning module is provided by Work-Ready Electronics and covers phase-locked loops. Work-Ready Electronics modules are intended to be used either independently or integrated with current electronics curricula in college programs. This module is divided into three sections: Content, Knowledge Probes, and Learning Activities.
Contents:
The Content section includes three PDF documents that cover the following topics: phase-locked loop applications and troubleshooting.
Three Knowledge Probes are included in this learning module. The knowledge probes include learning objectives and a short quiz. Each Knowledge Probe corresponds to a topic covered in the Content section.
The Learning Activities section includes two labs. The Drill-down Reports Lab includes the following sections: Learning Objectives, Performance and Task Procedures, Topic 1: PLL Manufacturers, Topic 2: The Use of PLL's in Other Applications, Topic 3: Different Types of Frequency Synthesizers, and more. The Phase-Locked Loops Circuit Lab includes the following sections: Lab Summary, Learning Objectives, Equipment and Supplies, Lab Preparation, Introduction, Lab Procedures, Capture Range, Lock Range, Post Lab Questions, and more.
For orientation purposes Amplifiers.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this learning module.
Below is a list of the files contained within the .zip attachment. The size of each file is included in parenthesis.
