This 44-page report is provided by the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC) and addresses the needs of the energy workforce. "A primary purpose of this report is to enhance counselor, teacher, and student awareness of energy technology careers at the technician level." This report should "contribute to addressing the workforce development needs of business, industry, and government by providing educators with information needed to develop relevant curricula that prepares students for energy technology careers."

The report includes definitions of occupational categories, occupations, and functions. Emerging environmental technology trends are also discussed.
