Introduction to Alternative and Renewable Energy: Climate Change

These presentation slides are intended for use in a college-level introductory course in alternative and renewable energy. The slides include an overview of climate change. The main sections covered are fossil fuel perturbations, climate change variables, greenhouse gases and radioactive forcing. There is also information on solar irradiance and surface albedo, and earth's energy balance and the greenhouse effect. Each section includes useful graphical representations of the information.
