Introduction to Alternative and Renewable Energy: Solar Energy
These presentation slides are intended for use in a college-level introductory course in alternative and renewable energy. The slides cover production of solar energy including details on the sun's path and position, irradiation, air mass and irradiance on plate. Ecliptic, seasonal declination change, earths orbit, the cosine effect, and shading losses are also covered. A number of useful graphics are included to enhance the materials.
