Light Technology Teaching Element

This lesson, from the Technological Education Pathways Partnership (TEPP), compares some of the different light bulbs available to consumers. Light bulb types examined include incandescent, LED, and compact fluorescent lamp. Three PowerPoint presentations outline a test the output of incandescent light bulbs, and teardowns of CFL and LED light bulbs; a PDF outlining self oscillating lamp circuits; a Word document with instructions for an experiment with motion sensing light fixture; and an Excel spreadsheet containing experimental data.
