Fundamentals of Light and Lasers: Windows and Mirrors
This lab activity, presented by John Chamberlain, covers the basics of windows and mirrors as the two relate to reflections of light. In the 20-minute video, Chamberlain demonstrates equations that help determine reflection, including predicted reflection and actual reflection. Also explored are the basic tools needed to help measure reflection, including a laser, a FieldMeter, goggles, and more. This lab, 1-3C, is one in a series of 20 available on the Fundamentals of Light and Lasers.
These videos were created as a supplement to the Fundamentals of Light and Lasers curriculum available through OP-TEC, but can be used independently to guide lab activities related to this topic.
