This "Funding Environment: From Funder Mandates to Industry Partnerships" webinar and corresponding webinar slides, from the Internet Scout Research Group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, were presented by Rachael Bower, ATE Central PI, and Nancy Maron, of BlueSky to BluePrint, on May 03, 2016. Michael Lesiecki of Maricopa Advanced Technological Education Center (MATEC) is featured as a special guest. The webinar introduces the role of environment in funding sustainability, whether this is the environment at the academic department, institution, government and political environment, or social trends. An introduction to the speakers' respective institutions is given, then a discussion of the role of environment in sustainability plans is introduced. Key steps to sustainability are presented, as well as case studies in sustainability. The webinar concludes with ways to learn more about your environment when you are seeking or sustaining funding. The recorded webinar is 1 hour and 18 minutes long.
