Toolkit Description:
RCNET Radiation Protection Toolkit: Aiken Technical College is from the RCNET Comprehensive Teaching Toolkit: Radiation Protection which is drawn from curriculum taught in the Associate in Applied Science with a Major in Radiation Protection Technology program at Aiken Technical College, the Radiation Protection concentration at Chattanooga State Community College, the Nuclear Technology program at Columbia Basin College, the Radiation Protection Curriculum Project at the University of Missouri, and the program in Radiation Protection Technology at Texas State Technical College. This RCNET Toolkit is organized into five sections: Aiken Technical College, Chattanooga State Community College, Columbia Basin College, University of Missouri, and Texas State Technical College.  

Toolkit Course Contents
RCNET Radiation Protection Toolkit: University of Missouri includes material from the Radiation Protection Technician Curriculum project and covers radiation dosimetry, radiation monitoring, radiological materials control, radiation fundamentals, radiation protection, and safety and response. There is also a significant section that covers practical skills development of radiation protection technicians.

Materials available as part of the Teaching Toolkit are arranged by topic and include modules, instructor and student guides, PowerPoint lectures, evaluation documents, training forms, exams, radiation protection survey maps, and related course materials.

Modules include a Table of Contents, Resources Key, Module Readings and Homework, Module Assessment Items, and ACAD References. 

For orientation purposes Determine_dose_to_the_skin.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this course.
