ATE Central

This module, provided by the Center for Nanotechnology Education (Nano-Link), introduces students to the health effects of nanoparticles. This module was developed in collaboration with the Midwest Emerging Technologies Public Health and Safety Training (METPHAST) Program. Included in the module is a video that runs 53:21 minutes, a video that runs 03:31 minutes, a hands-on activity entitled Particle Size from Microscopy Images, and presentation slides. The learning objectives for this module are as follows:

  • Categorize sampling instruments based on size resolution, time resolution, and concentration metric
  • Describe operating principles of different sampling instruments
  • List methods used to analyze nanomaterial samples
  • Interpret output from different instruments

Users must create a free account in order to access all of the materials.
