This collection, made available by Clark State Community College, consists of educational resources about soil nutrients and fertility. Included in the collection are a soil testing lab activity, a nutrient deficiency lab activity, and a soil fertility pre-test.

The nutrient deficiency lab utilizes "various commonly available fertilizers to compare the effects of various levels of nutrients on plant growth." During the activity, students plant two different types of seedlings in a sand/perlite mixture and apply various types of fertilizers, each with five varying rates, and then monitor and compare plant growth.

In the soil testing lab, students test soil samples with two different field test kits and compare the results.
