This 117-page book, published by Maricopa County Community College District, highlights the work of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program. The NSF ATE program prepares technicians for high-technology workplaces. ATE centers "... work on national and regional approaches to key issues in specific technology fields. ATE projects focus on particular technician education challenges."

This book includes information and data about the NSF ATE program and focuses on the accomplishments of 40 ATE centers and two large ATE Projects. A map is included that shows the location of the ATE centers.  Four members of the program are also briefly highlighted.
