The National Teacher Training Workshop (NTTW) on rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing is sponsored by RapidTech, the National Science Foundation and our industry partners. The workshop is structured for hands-on labs and presentations each day. This will be an opportunity for institutions that utilize or anticipate adopting these technologies to hear from industry and experts about the latest and greatest developments. Attendance of this workshop will give you and your institution a competitive edge in the emerging field of additive manufacturing.
Each participant will have the opportunity to attend the following hands-on labs:
Silicone mold making and resin casting sponsored by Smooth-On; 3-D printing technologies utilizing the Z Corporation equipment; FDM technologies utilizing Stratasys equipment;
Laser scanning and reverse engineering utilizing ZScanner 700, NextEngine & Rapidform;
Solid modeling utilizing SolidWorks; Rapid prototyping model finishing workshop; Metal Casting
