Intermediate GIS 2 day workshop This workshop is designed for those who have used geospatial software specifically ArcVIew. The workshop will be taught using ArcInfo 9.3.1. This workshop will cover the following topics: data projections and need for projections, creating and using geodatabases, using ArcCatalog to create new labels, heads up digitization, using raster data, using digital elevation models, using ArcScene and 3D analysis, creating spider diagrams, counting of data through Excel and ArcView, GeoCoding of address data, and georeferencing of data. Upon completion of this workshop participants will be given access to the software via a terminal service connection, access to data and access to additional curriculum content which they can use to continue their learn and/or use with student learners.
