GeoCaching half day event, 1:00 - 4:00 pm As part of the GeoEd’10 preconference activities, there will be a GeoCaching event held on the Southwest Campus of Jefferson CTC. GeoCaching is the discovery of items hidden at specified longitude and latitude. The participant will use a GPS to find these locations. Those finding the most caches in the least amount of time will be awarded a prize. This activity will be both a networking event and a fun way to learn more about the function of GPS. GPS units will be provided to those who do not own their own device.Attendance of "Using a GPS Across the Curriculum" Workshop is not mandatory. Instructors: Ross Allen This workshop will meet in Room 111 of the Business Building.
