On Thursday, November 18, students from Waterbury-area high schools will view demonstrations on advanced technologies used in manufacturing, will tour the campus and hear from representatives who can give them information on educational pathways that will help them obtain manufacturing and engineering careers.

That evening, Mr. Wohler will conduct a special seminar on additive manufacturing for parents, college students and for anyone interested in the community. He will repeat his talk the following morning on Friday, November 19 at a special seminar for educators, manufacturers and local legislators. Following his talk, participants can attend the manufacturing demonstrations, to be followed by a talk from a Connecticut Business and Industry Association economist on the state of manufacturing in Connecticut. Participating educators will receive .4 CEUs.

The Thursday evening event, which begins at 6:30 with an ice cream social, is open to the general public. The Friday morning event for educators, manufacturers and legislators begins at 7:30, and includes a continental breakfast. Mr. Wohler's remarks will begin at 8:45.
