This workshop covers the applications, operations, and fabrication of BioMEMS, MEMS used in the medical field. Participants will complete several activities that will help them to better understand the scale of biomolecules and how biomolecules and microsize devices are used for medical diagnostics, therapeutics and gene analysis. Workshop discussions will include where and how this material and the related activities can be incorporated into an existing curriculum.
