For the 4th year in a row, these National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education Centers are joining forces to create a Winter ICT Educator Conference, January 5-6, 2012, in San Francisco. It is co-hosted by the new California Community College (CCC) ICT Collaborative, which is funded by the CCC State Chancellor’s office to coordinate and improve ICT education at all 112 of California’s Community Colleges.
The conference will feature excellent presentations from ICT industry and ICT education representatives. Even in this period of high unemployment, quality ICT education leads to quality ICT employment, and that has a positive impact on the economy – at many levels. Let’s share quality ICT education information, resources and practices, improve ICT education, help people find good ICT jobs and improve this poor economy – now!
