This workshop will provide young researchers (graduate students, post-docs) from across the Americas with lectures and hands-on tutorial sessions in computational condensed matter, chemistry, and materials sciences for energy applications. It will also provide participants with a chance to build international connections and collaborations. Full travel support and housing for accepted participants will be provided. Energy topics will include battery design, photonics, thermoelectrics, piezoelectric energy harvesting, multiscale modeling, and computational searches for new materials.
