The online curriculum is culled from the four National Science Foundation (NSF) projects and over 18 years of success in assisting educational institutions in recruiting and retaining female students in programs around the country. Attendees will learn about gender diversity in STEM, keeping STEM students on course, and addressing the challenge of appealing to women who aren't excited by STEM. Presentations, handouts, and exercises are available online to watch and complete at each participants' convenience each week.
The course involves 5 weeks for recruitment training (Oct 7-Nov 1), followed by 5 weeks for retention training (Nov 9-Dec 6).
