The National Council of Workforce Education conference will provides a wonderful opportunity to meet new colleagues, reconnect with old friends, and take away new and important information about promising practices and programs in workforce education, basic skills advancement, economic development, partnership development, and other topics of interest to your organization. There will be numerous conversations that reflect those being held nationally about how to fill the pipelines of business and industry with highly skilled workers; how to move non-credit work into the credit program environment; how to better prepare workers who come to us under-prepared with the basic skills: how to attract young people into technical careers; and what credentials are the most meaningful to employers.
