This workshop will focus on defining stackable academic credentials aligned to national standards. One of the objectives is to review and revise the current college credit certificates under the A.S. Engineering Technology Mechanical Fabrication and Design specialization. This workshop anticipates the fine-tuning of the standards and benchmarks will define an alignment with NIMS certifications that may result in articulation pathways. Anyone (machining professionals and trainers, secondary and post-secondary machining educators, etc) interested in machining education in secondary and/or post secondary institutions are welcome to attend and participate.
