The workshop co-leaders will be Bob Chaney (a 2013 US Professor of the Year) and Fred Thomas. Participants in each workshop will receive 3 Math Machines (Function Plane, Color Mixer and Linear Programmable Vehicle) which can be operated with EITHER a Windows computer OR a TI-83/84 family calculator. Thanks to funding from Ohios Honor Project Trust, STEM educators teaching in Ohio can participate without charge. For others, the cost is $500. The option of 3 semester hours of graduate credit is available from Ashland University at the reduced cost of $175/credit. Please share this information with other science, technology, engineering or mathematics faculty who might be interested.
