The purpose of this 4-day workshop is to provide an opportunity to learn how to integrate Microsystems Technology into STEM curriculum. You will learn how to use select SCME kits in the classroom and be provided hands-on cleanroom experience on the process steps for fabricating a MEMS micro-pressure sensor at Chippewa Valley Technical College's (CVTC) Nanofabrication Center located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Southwest Center for Microsystems Education (SCME) is sponsoring this event and has completed the technology transfer to CVTC. The SCME has now established the pressure sensor workshop at multiple locations across the nation, University of New Mexico's MTTC, North Dakota State College of Science's CNTT, USF's NREC, University of Michigan's LNF, and now CVTC's Nanofrabrication Facility. Target Audience: STEM Community College and High School instructors who will use the materials in their classroom.
