The United States Fab Lab Network Symposium will be hosted by Gateway Technical College at its S.C. Johnson iMET Center in Sturtevant, WI.

The theme of this symposium will focus on financial sustainability and growth of Fab Labs. It will also be conducting start-up workshops on how to get a Fab Lab up and running, leveraging Fab Labs for entrepreneurship,  incorporating Fab Labs into educational programs, and a variety of equipment vendors demonstrating projects and capabilities.

In addition, it will feature a presentation by Dr. Neil Gershenfeld, Director of The Center for Bits and Atoms at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
