Bradley Layton, Assistant Professor and Director of the Energy Technology Program at the University of Montana's Missoula College, will be hosting a three-part webinar lecture series to rural Montana high school students. The series will quantify human metabolic energy and power, solar energy and power, and will wrap up with a series dubbed “Uncle Helios,” where the current rate of fossil fuel consumption will be compared to the rate at which an heir would spend funds from a rich Uncle Helios. This webcast series is offered as an educational outreach component of the upcoming Montana Asia Energy Summit.
