The Workshop for Aspiring Chief Academic Officers is an opportunity for instructional administrators who aspire to become CAOs to network with existing Chief Academic Officers and Presidents of Community Colleges.  This workshop is designed to further understanding, from multiple perspectives, of the relationships between Chief Academic Officers and their Presidents, how to successfully collaborate from these positions, and discuss issues and obstacles in the day-to-day responsibilities of these two positions.  The event includes concurrent sessions facilitated by current Chief Academic Officers of Community Colleges and a question and answer period facilitated by Presidents of Community Colleges in a panel-type format.  The workshop also includes the expertise of Angela Provart, CEO of Pauly Group, a national academic search consulting firm, focused on community and technical colleges.  Ms. Provart will review attendees' cover letters and resumes prior to the workshop and conduct individual sessions for her feedback.
