Build awareness of the triple-bottom-line (TBL) impacts of the built environment and investigate the importance and benefits of promoting livable, high density design  Investigate the options for balancing land use needs for housing with needs for agriculture, landscapes and greenscapes, and natural resources. Host a Design Charrette in which participants will design and envision places that support "conscious living" -- places where occupants are actively conscious of the impact they have on their environment and employ practices to mitigate their impact, and conserve and protect natural resources.
