This training will provide participants with information to increasee success for stuents included within mainstream classrooms. This workshop will sensitize faculty to challenges faced by deaf/hard-of-hearing students in a mainstream environment, explain and examine visual classroom techniques, present effective use of support service personnel (sign language interpreters, notetakers, tutors, captionists), and assist in mastering strategies to meet the goals of Universal Design for Learning in education

The target audience for this workshop includes STEM high school general education teachers, inclusion specialists, local assistive technology specialists, and staff within the Deaf Education program.
