Last month, Johns Hopkins School of Education and NAPE released the report Solving the Education Equation calling for a national commitment to increasing the diversity of the STEM workforce. Developed by a coalition of educators, businesses, nonprofits, and civil rights groups, the report emphasizes the critical role that equitable learning environments play in insuring that teaching and learning are relevant and connect meaningfully to STEM literacy and competency. This webinar brings together members of the coalition to review the reports principles and create a call to action to include equity as central to the education reform policy and practice discussion.
