Geo business is booming in Europe. Projects like GeoSkills Plus have shown that in many countries, demand for a geospatial workforce is not being met by supply. Central administration (the European Commission and Ministries of Education) seem largely unaware of the problems being faced by the industry. I suggest that more radical change in education is necessary, integrating Geo-ICT in different education sectors. In order to achieve this, connecting all stakeholders will be essential. This webinar reports on initiatives to support and enhance geospatial education in Europe and specifically those undertaken with the European Association of Geographers. It suggests the importance of 'hidden work' developing a strong lobby for geospatial education for all and sets out goals and new projects to redress the situation.
