The National Cyber Summit is one of the preeminent events in the southeastern United States for cyber training, education, and workforce development for the ever-evolving threat. Attendees benefit from a diverse offering of educational training sessions, technical and management presentations, and keynotes from world-class speakers.The 2016 event, hosted by the North Alabama Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and Cyber Huntsville, is expected to attract 900+ attendees and vendors. 
A cyber-defense competition, the Cyber Cup, takes place during the event, and NSA/DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence Certificates are presented to representatives of institutions that have been awarded the designation.​
