St. Cloud Technical and Community College is hosting its ninth annual S.T.A.R. (Students, Technology, And Robots) for middle school students.

During this week-long camp, teams of two students will build a remote-controlled robot, learning about the manufacturing processes of Mechanical Design, Machine Tool Technology, Welding/Fabrication and Industrial Electronics while doing so.  The camp culminates in a competition, where the teams will drive their robots through an obstacle course designed by the SCTCC instructors.
