During the Laser and fiber Optics summer camp 2016, students will be immersed in the integrated and interactive discovery of engineering, technology, engineering and math. 

The latest technologies such as lasers, fiber optics, laser-enabled systems, sensors, robots, automated systems, and video game design are some of the topics that will be featured at this summer camp. Discovery of real-world applications will be led by qualified instructors through a collaborative work and inquiry-based learning.  Students will: 

Discover:  light, optics, lasers, laser systems, fiber optics, integrated photonics, sensors and more! 

Design, build, & take home: laser-enabled museum security system with integrated photo alarm system! 

Employ: mirrors, lenses, lasers, electrical circuit board, and photo sensors.
Operate: soldering iron, 3-D printer, mechanical tools.
